2020 - Miles For Mind
Virtual Run
What a month of running, talking and fundraising May was!
6,620 runners took part in Miles For Mind 2020 and helped raise over £112,000 for the mental health charity, Mind.
Motivation, support and encouragement flowed while people shared they pictures and running routes where they headed out, or even stayed within their garden!
We'd love you to review the event so others can see what they missed out on and be encouraged to sign up to the Miles For Mind 2021 event, so click on Write A Review below.
Happy running and be proud to be a runr.

Well organised, well supported and the organisers take time to respond to posts and encourage Community spirit from everyone is great. And the medal is always quality. And on top of all this, its supporting an awesome cause
Lockdown or no Lockdown - I wish I had started running before when I did so I can take part in previous years. Oh well, this was brilliant. The running community all united raising over £100,000 for Mind (a charity very close to my heart) and encouraging each other to just run. Having a goal (100miles) to aim for kept me motivated but so did RUNR with their blogs, regular emails and social media posts. Well done everyone, be back next year, thankyou!
I absolutely loved this virtual event. We set up a running team with friends across the country and kept each other motivated via WhatsApp. It was a great way to spend May it was also a really important time to be talking about mental health, during the pandemic. We've all been struggling with the psychological impact of Covid-19 and this was a fantastic event to help us through it.
I absolutely loved this challenge - the sense of community through the facebook page was phenomenal, as was the support from the other members of the group and from Runr. I have made lasting friendships from this challenge that I treasure and I'm already looking forward to next year's Miles for Mind event!
I love getting out and about especially walking and cycling. Medals inspire me and always for a good cause.
